Ronald Anderson Jr.

Ronald Anderson Jr., 29, of Ottawa, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at Illinois Valley Community Hospital. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00 am August 30, 2014 at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor David E. Daniel officiating. Visitation will be Friday, August 29, 2014 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Ottawa Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park. Ronald was born May 10, 1985 in Ottawa, Illinois to Ronald Anderson Sr. and Carol Stricklin. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and the Peru YMCA. He worked for JamesHardie in Peru. He enjoyed sports and loved basketball. In honoring his wishes, Ronald was able to be an organ donor. He is survived by his gramma, Sharon Anderson; his father, Ronald (Tammi) Anderson Sr.; his grandfather, Robert E Anderson Sr.; two brothers, Dylan and Luke Anderson; two uncles, Robert (Kimberly) Anderson Jr. and Richard A (Wendy) Anderson; and two cousins, Brandon and Blake Anderson. He is preceded in death by his mother Carol Stricklin. Memorials may be directed to Zion Lutheran Church or to the family.
