Ronald Hauge, 70, of Seneca passed away Monday, April 25, 2016 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox.
Funeral Ceremony will be held at 11:30 am Friday, April 29, 2016 at Stavanger Lutheran Church with Rev. Philip Peterson officiating. Visitation will be 9:30 - 11:30; two hours prior to services, Friday, April 29, 2016 at Stavanger Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Stavanger Cemetery with military services. Osborne-Nelson Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
Ronald was born April 9, 1946 in San Francisco, California to Mark and Clara (Hausken) Hauge. He proudly served in the United States Army during Vietnam War, where he earned the combat infantry badge and the Purple Heart. He married Miriam Rivers on April 3, 1971 in Stavanger. He worked at GE Plastics, formerly known as Marbon and Borg Warner. He was a member of Stavanger Lutheran Church and was an honorary member of Stavanger Lutheran Church Altar Guild. Ron enjoyed working in his yard and spending time with his loving family; especially his grandson.
He is survived by his loving wife, Miriam; two children, Jon (Shalene) Hauge and Sarah Hauge; one grandson, Kyle Vernon; two siblings, Mary Ann (Richard) Ewing and Wayne (Janet) Hauge; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Ewing, Greg Ewing, Paul Hauge, Christopher Hauge, David Hauge, and Kyle Vernon.
Memorials may be directed to Stavanger Lutheran Cemetery or the Seneca Food Pantry.
