OTTAWA -- Roger D. Foster, 69, of Ottawa, died Thursday, Nov. 1, at his home. Private services will be held. Cremation rites were accorded. Arrangements were entrusted to Ottawa Funeral Home. Mr. Foster was born Dec. 4, 1937, in Ottawa, to Alvy and Irene (Doolan) Foster. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War and was a truck driver and a Teamster. He was a member of the American Legion. He is survived by a daughter, Crystal Sharp of Hannibal, Mo.; three grandchildren, Alexandra, Isaac and Trinity; two sisters, Donna (Ronnie) Lowe of Marseilles and Ruth Meyers of Reno, Nev.; and two brothers, Norman and Kenneth (Sue), both of Ottawa. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Richard; and one sister, Dorothy Gretencord.
