NAPLATE -- Robert J. Srsnick, 70, of Naplate, died Sunday, July 1, 2007, at his home. Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Church in Naplate with Monsignor Jerome Ham officiating. Burial will be in Ottawa Avenue Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Church. Arrangements were entrusted to Ottawa Funeral Home. Mr. Srsnick was born Oct. 29, 1936, in Ottawa, to Nicholas and Catherine (Visocky) Srsnick. He retired from Libbey-Owens-Ford Glass Company in 1987 and was a member of St. Mary's Church. Mr. Srsnick was faithful to the Catholic church and served as an altar boy at St. Mary's Church in Naplate. He graduated from Marquette High School and attended LPO Junior College. He loved his cat and spent time taking walks in nature - along the I & M Canal as well as Buffalo Rock Park. Survivors include one sister, Florence (Frank) DeFrank of Ottawa; and one brother, Joseph (Josephine) of Mokena. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Albert; and one sister, Mary in infancy Pallbearers will be Michael DeFrank, Nicholas Srsnick, Erik Karlsson, Dale Russell, Kevin Brown and George Knoppe.
