Roberta Aubry

Roberta Ann Aubry, 77, of Ottawa, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2023 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center.

Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00pm on Wednesday, May 31, at Ottawa Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 10:00am on Thursday, June 1, at St. Columba Cemetery in Ottawa, with Fr. Gary Caster officiating.

Roberta was born July 12, 1945, in Sandwich, IL, to Richard Randolph and Betty (Monroe) Terry II. She married Dennis Aubry on November 4, 1967 at St. Columba Church in Ottawa. She retired after decades of teaching. She was an avid reader and loved the Reddick Library. She valued her friendships and organized gatherings for her Marquette High School classmates. Her signature chocolate cake was absolutely epic.

She is survived by her children, Julie Aubry, Cheryl (Peter Lee) Aubry, and Terry Aubry; her grandson, Noah Aubry Garrett; her nephew, Ryan Terry; and her beloved & wonderful cats, Henri and Grey.

Roberta was preceded in death by her husband;  her parents; her step mother, Rosemary Terry; her brother, Richard Randolph Terry III; her nephew, Aaron Terry; and her son in law, Norman Wong.
