Robert Weber

Robert Weber, 75, of Marseilles, Illinois, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2014 at his home. Funeral Ceremony will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at Ottawa Funeral Home with Rev. David Kipfer officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 - 7:00 pm Monday, May 19, 2014 at Ottawa Funeral Home with prayers at 3:30. Robert was born November 18, 1938 in LaSalle, Illinois to Edward and Mary (Vogel) Weber. He married Lorene Malasie on January 28, 1962 at Our Lady of Good Counsel in Aurora, Illinois. He served in the United States Navy. Bob worked as a real estate developer for many years. Bob enjoyed traveling in the RV to Arizona where he and Lorene spent the winter. He loved to play poker but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by loving wife, Lorene; three children, Robert (Michelle) Weber Jr. of Colorado Springs, CO, Kathryn (Rich) Rosengren of Marseilles, and MaryAnn Adams, of Ottawa; five siblings, James Weber, Lyle Weber, Edward (Doreen) Weber, Regina (Roger) Myerson, Loretta (Robert) Cooney; eight grandchildren, Krystal (Josh) Johnson, Kalah (Bobby Schmelter) Rosengren, Beau Rosengren, Elizabeth, David, and Christopher Weber, Kylie and Peyton Adams; and two great-grandchildren, Jack and Tucker Johnson. He is preceded in death by his parents. Memorials may be directed to Vitas Hospice or Pancreatic Cancer Research.
