Robert Mccormick

MARSEILLES -- Robert J. McCormick, 78, of Marseilles, died Friday, Jan. 11, at St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ottawa Funeral Home with the Rev. Kerwin Sletto. Burial will be in Granville Cemetery. Visitation will be two hours prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. McCormick was born April 23, 1929, in Chicago, to Marie McCormick. He was raised by his grandparents, John C. and Nora McCormick. He was a cook in many local restaurants. He is survived by his life partner, Chuck Neubaum; and a son, Gary R. McCormick. Pallbearers will be Daniel Neubaum Jr., Sam Abraham, Doug Williams, Allan Bicocci, Wesley Welch and Terry and Jeremy Hammes. Memorials may be directed to Ottawa Easter Seals.
