Robert Mann

Robert Mann, 85, of Marseilles and formerly of Seneca, died Friday, October 3, 2008 at Rivershores Care Center in Marseilles. Cremation Rites will be accorded. There will be no services. Osborne-Nelson Funeral Home of Seneca was entrusted with the arrangements. Mr. Mann was born September 23, 1923, in Marseilles, to Richard and Nettie Mann. He married Enid Mavity September 27, 1945. She died June 30, 1980. Robert was employed at E.E. DuPont. He is survived by three sons, Gary Mann and Michael (Janice) Mann, both of Seneca and Scott Mann of Freeport; four grandchildren, Angela (Richard) Humphreys of Marseilles, Tammy Mann of Seneca, Rusty (Andrea) Lindquist of Oak Harbor Washington and Melissa (William) Grimes of DesMoines, Iowa; seven great-grandchildren, Kristina Mann, Chad, Alex and Chelsea Humphreys, Karli and Kyle Mann and Celeste Lindquist; one sister, Viola Dillon of Ottawa. Mr. Mann was preceded in death by his wife, Enid; two brothers; three sisters; and one grandson, Michael Scott Mann.
