Robert J Granados

Robert J. Granados, 60, of Rochelle, formerly of Ottawa, died Friday, Sept. 3. Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday at Ottawa Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jim Tilley officiating. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery with military services and presentation of the flag. Pallbearers will be John, Brian and Joe Ganados, Eric Ohlendorf, Nicholas Scarabino and Chad Seyller. Robert was born Nov. 20, 1949, in Ottawa, to Frank and Mary (Espinoza) Granados. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Rochelle, Celebrate Recovery, the American Legion, VFW, Tres Dias and Credo and Kyros Ministry. He is survived by his wife, Nancy; two sons, Eric and Joel Granados; two daughters, Kristy Meagher and Lacie Hill; three stepchildren, Adria (Chad) Seyller and Naomi and Isaiah Budnick; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; three brothers, Raymond (Shirley), Frank (Mary) and Rick (Monica); and six sisters, Julia (Pete) Vasquez, Juanita Barrios, Sally (Joe) Galvan, Carmen (Donald) Gorsuch, Mary Lou (Norman) Helmer and Hope (Larry) Kelly. He was preceded in death by his father; one sister, Felice Ramirez; and one brother, Michael Granados.
