Robert D. Funk

Robert D. Funk, 91, of Ottawa, Il. passed away Thursday, August 12, 2010 at Pleasant View. A Memorial Service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 16, 2010 at Waltham Presbyterian Church with Rev. Howard Smith and Rev. Roy Backus officiating. Visitation will be 3-5 p.m., Sunday, August 15, 2010 at Ottawa Funeral Home. Robert was born September 6, 1918 in Ottawa, Il to Frank and Mildred (McEvoy) Funk. He married Esther Morris June 20, 1947 in Tiskilwa,IL. He was a lifelong farmer in Dayton Township. Robert is survived by his wife, Esther of Ottawa; one daughter, Barbara (John) Kristler of Sullivan IN; three sons, Bruce Funk of Germany, Paul (Dona)Funk of Michigan, and Brian (Lori) Funk of Ottawa; six grandchildren; and four great grandchildren He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Elizabeth Cranmer and Loraine Abercrombie. Pallbearers will be his Grandchildren. Memorials may be directed to the family.
