Rita Lethiot

Rita Lethiot, 88, of Mission Viejo, CA, formerly of Ottawa, died Saturday June 13, 2009 at Mission Hospital in California. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Saturday June 20, 2009 at St. Patrick's Church in Ottawa with the Rev. Lourduraj Ignatius officiating. Visitation will be 4-7 Friday June 19 at Ottawa Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park. Rita was born November 1, 1920, in Chicago, Illinois to Ralph and Germana Pacini. She married James J. Lethiot Sr. July 5, 1941, in Chicago, Il. He died February 12, 1996. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Ottawa. Rita worked for Westclocks, Sears, and had managed apartment properties. She was also a life long artist. She is survived by two daughters, Marilyn Lethiot of Colorado and Rochelle Lethiot of California; one son John (Katherine Blahut) Lethiot of Ottawa; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one brother, Ralph (Ruth) Pacini of Colorado; and one sister, Violet (Carl) Shoemaker of California. She is preceded in death by two sons, James Jr. and a son in infancy; two sisters and one brother. Pallbearers will be Andres Cabrera, James and Tom Crabtree, David Weldon, Ralph Tassisstro, and Joseph Maresse Memorials may be directed to the family
