Rita M. Fitzgerald, 67, of Ottawa passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at her home. Private family services were held. Ottawa Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with cremation rites.
Rita was born November 17, 1949 in LaSalle to Peter and Bernice (Klinker) Romeo. Rita loved to sew and work around her yard. She loved her dogs and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Toni (Mike) Anderson, of Ottawa; and two grandkids, Alec and Paige Faley, of Ottawa. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, JoAnne (Allen) Anke.
