Richard E. Hackstock

Richard E. Hackstock, 58, of Ottawa passed away Thursday, December 27, 2018 at his home.

Private services will be held at a later date. Ottawa Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with cremation rites.

Rich was born September 9, 1960 in Oaklawn, Illinois to Albert and Lois (Withrow) Hackstock. He married Diane Boswell January 12, 1991 in Oaklawn. Rich enjoyed playing guitar and singing. He loved spending time outdoors with the wildlife. He looked forward to going out with his wife, especially to Woody's and Monte's.

Rich is survived by his wife of 28 years, Diane; his siblings, Jimmy Hackstock of Oaklawn and Gail Hackstock of Bridgeview; and his nieces and nephews, Viviana, Taylor, Savannah, Laura, Angelo, David, Bryson, and Donald Jr.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Donald Hackstock, Sr. His beloved pets also preceded him in death, Sabrina, Samantha, Bam Bam, Lady, and Doo.
