Phyllis Louise Revell, 78, of Ottawa passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at her home.
Due to COVID restrictions, private services will be held at St. Columba Church. The family has set up a facebook page to live-stream the funeral for friends and family unable to attend the service. Phyllis was born January 10, 1942 in Ottawa to Charles and Delsey (Friend) Wilkinson. She married Adrian "AJ" Revell on January 13, 1961 at St. Patrick's Church in Ottawa. They were married for 58 years before his passing on November 1, 2019.
Phyllis and her husband loved all aspects of the Civil War and visited many battlefields together. They were members of the Civil War Roundtable and the mural committee in Ottawa. She was also a member of the Events Committee for the city. Phyllis enjoyed bowling and jigsaw puzzles, but her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. She loved her kids and grandchildren, but she especially cherished the time she spent chasing around her little great-granddaughters.
She is survived by two children, Mark (Steve) Bruns-Revell and Angela Revell; three grandchildren, Heather Revell, Nathan Revell, and Jennafer (Ryan) Schuh; two great-granddaughters, Paisley and Scarlett Schuh; sister, Penny Davidson; daughter-in-law, Pam Revell; and sister-in-law, Becky Kohan.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, AJ; son, Charley; sister, Peggy Aubry; and son-in-law, Wes Logsdon.
