Phillip F. Socha

Phillip F. "Eldorado" or "Cicero" Socha, 62, of Wedron, IL, formerly of Cicero, passed away Saturday, January 02, 2010 at his home. Ottawa Funeral Home oversaw the cremation. Phillip was born February 7, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois to Frank and Zita (Mylinec). He married Tammy Kalousek on December 24, 1991 in Chicago, IL. Phillip was a Medic while serving in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a custodian for the Fox Valley Post Office. Phillip is survived by his wife, Tammy; one brother, Paul (Monica) of Willow Springs, IL; a sister-in-law, Kim Kalousek of Stickney, IL; and his Aunt, Bernice Plica of Cicero, IL. Phillip is preceded in death by his parents. Phil always enjoyed making people laugh and his jokes will be greatly missed. A memorial celebration will be held at a later date.
