Phil A. Wood

Phil A. Wood, 83, of Ottawa passed away Monday, March 14, 2022.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm, Saturday, March 19 at Ottawa Funeral Home, with Pastor Roy Backus officiating. Visitation will be from 1:30 until 2 pm, prior to services, at the funeral home.

Phil was born May 18, 1938 in Michigan. He married Pauline (Dunlap) on June 9, 1978, and together they have spent 43 wonderful years. Phil was the best pop-pop and loved spending time with all his grandchildren. He enjoyed being surrounded by family.

He is survived by his loving wife, Pauline; two daughters, Kelly (Scott) Peterson and Vickie Wood; two sons, Jim (Yvonne) Wood and Stephen (Heather) Cox; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and his favorite pup, Toby.
