Peter Quinzio

Peter "Pete" Quinzio, 93, of Ottawa passed away Friday, July 6, 2018 at the Illinois Veteran's Home.

Memorial Services will be held at 3 pm, Tuesday, July 10 at Ottawa Funeral Home with Rev. David Kipfer officiating. Visitation will be from 1-3 pm, prior to the services, at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery.

Pete was born April 30, 1925 in Spring Valley to Peter and Albeana (Roberts) Quinzio. He married Nancy Lane on September 7, 1957 at St. Columba Church.

Pete served three years in the Army Air Corps with the 24th Combat Mapping Squadron in the C.B.I. Theatre. He was employed at LOF for 40 years. He was a member of St. Francis Church, the Knights of Columbus, and the American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy; two children, Chuck (Nancy) Quinzio of Mt. Prospect and Mike of Schaumburg; and three grandchildren, Caitlin, Andrew, and Elizabeth.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Chuck. Memorials may be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.
