Perry Schlink

Perry Raymond Schlink, 76, of Ottawa, passed away Monday, January 22, 2024 at his home with his wife by his side.

Visitation will be on Thursday, January 25, from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Ottawa Funeral Home. A funeral ceremony will follow at 6:00 pm at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded.

Perry was born December 1, 1947, in Ottawa, IL, to Raymond and Rosalin (Perry) Schlink. He married Alice Donahue on November 29, 1974 at St. Patrick's Church in Ottawa.

Perry worked for over 15 years at Dupont and then later ETI in Seneca. He loved Volkswagens and the Beatles band. He enjoyed traveling, and would take trips to Florida to Disney World and went to San Francisco for his 25th wedding anniversary. He was an avid reader and always kept track of current events in the newspaper and on the news.

He is survived by his wife, Alice Schlink; his children, Eric, Albert, and Rudy Schlink, his granddaughter, Emma Schlink; and his sister, DeeDee Rossiter. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials may be directed to Marquette High School or the family.
