Peggy Menees

Margaret M. "Peggy" Menees, 74, of Seneca passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018 at her home. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Osborne-Nelson Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Peggy was born February 28, 1944 in Streator to Donald Russell and Mary (Schmitz) Sheedy. She married Ronnie E. Menees October 7, 1974 in Ottawa. Peggy was devoted to her family with all her heart and loved taking care of others. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had a soft spot for animals, especially cats. She enjoyed feeding the squirrels and loved when they recognized and responded to her voice. She was a caring wife, mother, and grandmother, and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband, Ronnie; six children, Donald (Connie) Towne of Ottawa, Michael (Tami) Towne of Sun Prairie, WI; Jeff (Lori) Towne of Ottawa, Mary (Bill) Garretson of Cornell, Ann Menees of Seneca, and Rhonda (Aaron) Clark of Morris; twelve grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Kathleen (Chuck) Wells and Sally (Mike) Smith, both of Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
