OTTAWA -- Pearl E. Sieg, 83, of Ottawa, formerly of Gloversville, N.Y., died Tuesday, Oct. 2, at Community Hospital of Ottawa. There will be no funeral services. Cremation rites will be accorded. Graveside services will be in Johnstown, N.Y. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at Ottawa Funeral Home. Mrs. Sieg was born Feb. 22, 1924, in Amsterdam, N.Y., to Howard and Ethel (Chamberman) Tatlock. She married Fredrick Sieg. She was a teacher's aide at Kingsboro School in Gloversville, N.Y., before retiring. She is survived by a son, Eric (Barbara) of Ottawa; a daughter, Sandra Apfel of Ottawa; five grandchildren, Michael, Mathew and Aaron Brockman, Lisa Alexander and Adam Sieg; three great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Luther (Geraldine) Tatlock of Amsterdam. She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Roy; a sister, Anges Belecki; and three brothers, Ralph, Clark and Milton Tatlock. Memorials may be directed to the American Red Cross.
