Pearl Jones

Pearl Jones, 88, of Ottawa passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at her home.

Funeral Service for Pearl will be 1:00 pm Monday, December 5, 2016 at Ottawa Funeral Home with Pastor Kim Wood, of First Congregational United Church of Christ, officiating. Visitation will be 12:00 - 1:00, one hour prior to services, on Monday at Ottawa Funeral Home. Burial will be in Wyoming Cemetery in Paw Paw.

Pearl was born September 22, 1928, in Emison, Indiana to Craven and Pearl (Van Meter) Byrd. She married Ralph Jones on April 11, 1946 in Indiana. He preceded her in death on August 31, 1984.

She is survived by two daughters, Linda Isaacs of Kuttawa, KY and Brenda (Steve) Vercolio of Ottawa; two grandchildren, David (Michele) Rennier and Krystle (Jason) Leal; two great grandchildren, Jasmine-Leal and Adric Leal; her daughter-in-law, Carol Jones; and two sisters, Shirley Anderson and Betty (Bob) McCullough.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Bobby Wayne Jones; brother, Wayne Byrd; and three sisters, Mary Jane Palmer, Wanda Applegate, and Margie Huffman.
