Paul M. Hoffmann

Paul M. Hoffmann, 57, of Ottawa, IL, passed away Thursday September 17, 2009 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Tuesday September 22, 2009 at St. Patrick's Church in Ottawa with the Rev. Philip Halfacre officiating. Visitation will be 4-8 pm, Monday September 21. Prayers will be at 4:00 pm with the Knights of Columbus in attendance. Paul was born April 11, 1952 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Charles and Rosemary (Kump) Hoffmann. He married Jane Sieve on June 29, 1974 in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota. Paul was an Engineer. He was also a devoted Catholic and had a great love for the outdoors. He is survived by his wife; four sons, Steven, Joseph (Ann), Peter (Cassie), all of Ottawa, and John (Emily) of Oswego; two grandsons, Matthew and Zachary; three brothers, Tim (Pam) of Maine, Mark (Joanie) of Chrystal, MN, and Jerry (Donna) Magnolia, AR. He is preceded in death by his Parents, his Father-in-law, Paul Sieve and his sister-in-law Judy Hoffmann. Memorials may be directed to the family.
