Patrick Evinger

Patrick B. Evinger, 58, of Ottawa, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2013, at his home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, November 16, 2013, at St. Columba Church with Rev. David Kipfer officiating. Ottawa Funeral Home has been entrusted with his cremation rites. Patrick was born October 5, 1955, in Terre Haute, Indiana, to Ron and Sally (Smyser) Evinger. He worked at Lincoln Technical Institute as a recruiter. He is survived by his sister, Kathy Gance of Antioch; two brothers, Frank Evinger of Antioch and Pete (Cynthia) Smyser of Utica; one son, Jonathan Evinger of Kentucky; and long time girlfriend, Tess Burke of Ottawa. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, John Evinger; and one sister, Aimee Smyser. Memorials may be directed to the Red Stocking Fund.
