Patricia M. Wielgopolan, 77, of Ottawa, IL, passed away Sunday, November 14, 2010 at her home. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 18, 2010 at St. Mary's Church in Naplate with Rev. Philip Halfacre officiating. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m., Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at Ottawa Funeral Home with prayers at 4:00 p.m.. Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park. Patricia was born June 4, 1933 in Flanagan, IL, to Patrick and Elsie (Ringer) Sheahan. She married Francis "Frank" Wielgopolan July 27, 1957. She graduated from Ottawa High School in 1952. She worked at Illinois Bell as an operator and also worked at Marquette High School in the cafeteria. She is survived by her husband, three sons, Stephen (Vicki), Michael (Kate) and Timothy (Eddie), all of Ottawa; one daughter, Patricia (Ray) Ortiz of Germantown Hills, IL; twelve grandchildren, Dane, Nina, Brennan, Kylie, Luke, Alyssa, Chloe Wielgopolan, and Noah and Baylee Ortiz, Harper Guerra, Greer, and Phoebe Blaustein; two brothers, Lloyd (Norma) Weakley of Minnesota, and Jim (Jan) Sheahan of Ohio; three sisters, Betty Flaynik of Kentucky, Julie (John) Quinn of Ottawa, and Evelyn (Paul) Anderson of Mohomet; and one great grandchild, Mayim Guerra. Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Katherine Sheahan, and Mary Miller; and one brother, Robert Weakley. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Dane, Brennan, Luke, Nina, Kylie, and Alyssa Wielgopolan. Honorary pallbearers will be Chloe Wielgopolan, Noah and Baylee Ortiz, Harper Guerra, Greer and Phoebe Blaustein. Memorials may be directed to Donor's choice.
