Patricia Flanagan

OTTAWA – Patricia A. Flanagan, 94, of Ottawa, died Saturday, June 7, 2008 at Pleasant View Luther Home, Ottawa. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday at St. Columba Church with the Rev. David Kipfer officiating. Burial will be in Ottawa Avenue Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 PM Tuesday, June 10 with liturgical prayers at 4:00 PM at Ottawa Funeral Home. Mrs. Flanagan was born March 17, 1914, in Ottawa, to Oscar J. and Julia L. (Boissenin) Bruck. She married William H. Johnston on June 10, 1937. He died July 26, 1956. She married Thomas E. Flanagan on December 1, 1962. He died April 14, 1995. She worked at the 1st National Bank of Ottawa. She was a member of St. Columba Church. She is survived by one son, David (Karen) Johnston of Fountain Valley, CA; two daughters, Diane (Chuck) Moss and Sharon Johnston Barthelemy, both of Ottawa; a step-daughter, Marta (Mel) Hughes of Winston-Salem, NC; a step-son, Thomas (Marianne) Flanagan of Calgary, Alberta, Canada; 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Marjorie Pierson, Eloise Fox and Jeanette Wendel and one brother, Emil Bruck. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren. Honorary pallbearers will be Ed Ryan, Larry Miller and Dave Neurohr.
