Pat "Fugi" Partridge

Pat "Fugi" Partridge, 85, of Ottawa, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2022, at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00pm noon on Friday, January 6, at St. Patrick's Church in Seneca, with Fr Bowan Schmitt officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00am until the time of service on Friday at the church.

Fugi was born July 8, 1937, in Seneca, IL to Charles and Viola Partridge. He married Joan Humphrey on December 28, 1963 at St. Patricks Church in Seneca. She passed away July 5, 2013.

He worked for Dupont and after his retirement, became the janitor at Seneca Grade School. He was always willing to help out, and could frequently be found giving rides to residents at Pleasant View or covering the front desk so the volunteers could have lunch. He was an avid sports fan following all the Chicago teams EXCEPT the Cubs. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and St. Patrick's Church.

He is survived by his sons, Gerald (Nilda) Partridge and Chris (Crystal) Partridge; his grandchildren, Michael, Shauna, Zachary, and Jenna Partridge; and his siblings, Dan, Bob, Dick, and Charlotte Partridge. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and his siblings, Sonny and Don Partridge and Grace Rasmussen.

Memorials may be directed to Pleasant View; St. Patrick's Church, Seneca; or the family.
