Nicholas J. Baima, 27, of Ottawa, died Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at Ottawa Regional Hospital and Healthcare Center. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am, Friday, May 22, 2009, at Ottawa Funeral Home with the Rev. Philip Halfacre officiating. Visitation will be from 4-7 pm Thursday, May 21, at Ottawa Funeral Home with prayers at 4:00. Burial will be in Grand Ridge Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Ottawa Funeral Home. Nick was born April 8, 1982 in Ottawa, Il to William "Bill" Sr. and Connie (Johnson) Baima. He is survived by his parents; three brothers, Jason Myers of Grand Ridge, William "Bill" Jr. and Nathan (Nora) Baima both of Ottawa; one sister, Ashley Baima of Ottawa; a nephew, Damon Myers of Grand Ridge; and his Paternal Grandmother, Bernadine Baima of Ottawa. He is preceded in death by his Maternal Grandparents, Hans and Dorothy Johnson and his Paternal Grandfather William Baima. Pallbearers will be Mike Gregory Jr. and Mike Gregory Sr., Tony Grunstad, Dave Baima Jr., Dan Stecken, and Andrew Baudino. Honorary Pallbearer will be Domonic Grunstad. Memorials may be directed to the family.
