Nancy A. Gaughan

Nancy A, Gaughan, 65, of Ottawa, IL passed away Saturday February 13, 2010 at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Funeral Services will be 6:00 PM Thursday February 18, 2010 at Ottawa Funeral Home with Rev. Philip Halfacre officiating. Visitation will be 4-6 pm, Thursday, February 18, prior to services at Ottawa Funeral Home. Cremation rites will be accorded. A Private burial will take place at a later date. Nancy was born June 1, 1944 in Ottawa, IL to Sam and Eileen (Wilkinson) Thomas. She married Robert "Mick" Gaughan April 27, 1968 at St. Patrick's Church in Ottawa. She is survived by her husband, Robert "Mick"; one daughter, Laura (Matt) Kidder; two sons, Jeremy (Alise) Gaughan of Antioch, IL, and Josh (Shannon) Gaughan of Ottawa; five grandchildren, Jason Gaughan, Hannah DeBernardi, Maggie Kidder, Logan Gaughan, and Amelia Gaughan; two sisters, Laurie (Kim) Bradach-Johnson, and Doreen Bradach both of Ottawa; two brothers, Sam and Kenny Thomas, both of Marseilles; and her mother, Hazel Thomas of Marseilles. Nancy is preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Terry Thomas; and her father Edward Bradach. Nancy loved cooking, and most of all, her grandchildren. Memorials may be directed to the family.
