Nancy Armstrong

Nancy (Sizemore) Armstrong, 87, of Ottawa, passed away March 22, 2024 at The Pavilion of Ottawa.

Nancy was born May 13, 1936, in Chicago, IL, to Levi and Clara (Agee) Sizemore. She married Lester Armstrong on May 1, 1959 in Chicago. He passed away December 3, 1982.

Nancy worked at Ottawa Community Hospital prior to her retirement. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She liked country music and was an avid animal lover.

She is survived by her brother, Robert (Maria) Sizemore; her two sons, Lester (Suzann) Armstrong and John (Keri Myre) Armstrong; her four grandchildren, Breanne, Lexi, Andrew, and Cory Armstrong; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Levi and Clara; her husband, Lester; and her two sisters, Shirley Farrell and Betty Levitt.

Cremation rites have been entrusted to Ottawa Funeral Home.
