Michael E. "Mick" Sullivan, 59, of Ottawa passed away Thursday, July 21, 2011 at Ottawa Regional Hospital and Healthcare Center. A Memorial Gathering will be 2:00 - 4:00 PM Sunday, July 24, 2011 at Ottawa Funeral Home. Mick was born November 1, 1951 in Ottawa, Illinois to Frank and Shirley (Harden) Sullivan. He married Patricia Battistelli December 2, 1980 in Ottawa. He served in the US Navy in Vietnam from 1969 to 1971. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; two cousins, Shirley Bernard and Billie (Marty) Mau; sister-in-laws, Laura (Phil) McNally and Kathy Battistelli; brother-in-laws, Robert (Michelle) Battistelli and Brian (Heather) Battistelli; nieces and nephews, Steve (Amy) McNally, Aaron, Ryan, Brenda, Felicia, Michaella, Cecilia, and Vincenzo Battistelli;; great nephew, Brennan McNally; and great niece, Kirsten McNally. He is preceded in death by his parents, his step-father Dale McNamara, maternal and paternal grandparents. Memorials may be directed to the family.
