Michael W. Sticken

Michael W. Sticken, 54, of Ottawa passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center. A celebration of life will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday, August 12 at the Deborah Ann Meadows Community Center; 2605 Champlain Street, Ottawa IL, 61350. Ottawa Funeral Home and Crematory has been entrusted with his cremation rites. Michael was born May 21, 1963 in Tiskilwa, Illinois to Sharon (Meisel) Patnoe. Michael was a Property Manager for Stough Group in Ottawa. He proudly served in the United States Air Force. Michael was fun, loving, and hard working guy. He enjoyed playing with his dog Susie. He is survived by his fiance, Veronica Higdon; two daughters, Jessica and Christian; his sister, Tracy Griffith; nieces and nephews, Dylan Ridel, Danielle Anderson, and Blake Sticken; three cousins, Rhonda Russell, Scott Corwin, and Joe Meisel; his good friends, Rick Heitz, Luke Carls, Brad Harrison, and Mike Miller; all his lovely lady friends; and Veronica's family who treated him like their own. He is preceded in death by his mother; one sister, Shanda Kennedy; and his special grandfather, Edgar Meisel. Memorials may be directed to American Heart Association.
