Michael James Loughridge

Michael James Loughridge, 54, of El Paso, formerly of Ottawa, passed away January 23, 2012 at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center in Normal, Illinois surrounded by his loving family. Funeral Service for Michael will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 27, 2012 at Ottawa Funeral Home with Pastor Kim Glenn officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 26, 2012 at Ottawa Funeral Home. Burial will be at Oakwood Memorial Park. Michael was born February 28, 1957 in Ottawa, Illinois to Avery and Patricia (Spence) Loughridge. He attended Ottawa High School and was previously employed by Rock Island Railroad. He was an avid Cubs fan and enjoyed his many visits home. We will forever cherish those moments. He will be deeply missed. He is survived by one son, Eric Farmer of Ottawa; three sisters, Linda Baldridge of Ottawa, JoAnn Linwood of Peoria, and Barb (Jose) Ramirez of Streator; one brother, Steve (Laura) Loughridge of Ottawa; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; maternal and paternal grandparents; one brother, William Loughridge; and his special friend, Connie Farmer. Pallbearers will be Eric Farmer, Steve Loughridge, Paul Hayes, Joe Ott, John Bohler, and Joe Bohler. Honorary pallbearers will be his nieces and nephews. Memorials may be directed to the family.
