Michael James Lentz, 55, of La Salle, IL, died, Thursday, August 19, 2010 at Illinois Valley Community Hospital. Memorial Service will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at Ottawa Funeral Home, with Rev. Nathan Kramer officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 -10:00 AM Tuesday at Ottawa Funeral Home. Michael Lentz was born, July 13, 1955, in Battle Creek MI, to the William J. and Leora (Smith) Lentz. He was the manager of Oogies and R-Place for many years. He is survived by one daughter, Brittany Lentz of Ottawa; two sons, Greg Lentz of Battle Creek MI and Chris (Renae) Lentz of LaSalle; two brothers, Paul Lentz of Texas and Chris Micklatcher of MI.; three sisters, Sally Lester of Battle Creek MI., Jeannine Lentz of Big Rapids, MI, and Mitzi Lantz of GA; and his mother, Esther Lentz of Battle Creek, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Lentz, Leora (Smith) and Floyd Cavanaugh. Memorials may be directed to the family.
