Michael Kacjor

Michael P. Kacjor, 92, of Ottawa, passed away Monday, March 12, 2012 at Pleasant View. Mass of Christian Burial for Michael will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 16, 2012 at St. Francis of Assisi Church with Rev. Michael Adrie officiating. Visitation will be 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Friday at the Ottawa Funeral Home. Entombment will be in the Shrine of Rest at Oakwood Memorial Park. Michael was born February 26, 1920 in Ottawa, Illinois to John N. and Mary Kacjor. He married Josephine Yasm on April 23, 1955 at St. Patrick's Church in Ottawa. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church and the Knights of Columbus. He retired from Ottawa Elementary School District. He is survived by a brother-in-law, James (Lois) Yasm; and nieces and nephews, and his special friend Mike Dougherty. He is preceded in death by his wife, Josephine of fifty seven years; his parents; and a brother, John. Memorials may be directed to St. Francis of Assisi Church or Ottawa Regional Hospital Hospice.
