Michael J. Hall I, 69, of Ottawa, Illinois, passed away Saturday, July 28, 2012 at his home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, August 2, 2012 at St. Patrick's Church, with the Rev. Joseph Donton officiating. Military services will be at Church. Private burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Ottawa Funeral Home with Prayers at 4:00 PM with the Knights of Columbus in attendance. Mike was born July 17, 1943, in Ottawa, to Granville and Cecilia (Comincioli) Hall. He married Roberta Johnson on August 6, 1977 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Ottawa. He was retired from Pilkington. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Knights of Columbus, Local 19, and was a former member of the LaSalle County Board. He is survived by Roberta Hall; two daughters, Laura Hall and Michelle Hall both of Ottawa; one son, Michael J. (Holly) Hall II of Ottawa; one granddaughter, Lillian Grace Hall; one brother, George (Mary) Hall of Orlando FL; two sisters, Joy (Tom) Landers and Barb (Jim) Flahaut both of Ottawa; and his beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Betty Burr. Memorials may be directed to the family.
