Michael Frig

Michael Frig, 98, of Ottawa, passed away Monday, January 9, 2012 at Pleasant View. Funeral Service for Mike will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, January 12, 2012 at Ottawa Funeral Home with Rev. Joseph Donton officiating. Visitation will be 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. prior to service on Thursday. Burial will be at Oakwood Memorial Park. Mike was born September 5, 1913 in Ottawa, Illinois to Anton and Mary (Levoi) Frig. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Ottawa and AARP. He worked out of Dixon, Illinois for Small Explosive Engineers. He retired from CB & Q Railroad. He is survived by two sisters, Marion Small of Florida and Agnes (Harry) Mason of Norway; and nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by three brothers, Anton Jr., Joseph, and Andy Frig; one sister, Margaret Aldrich; and his nephew, James J. Gaudi. Memorials may be directed to the family.
