Matthew Cavanagh

Matthew Cavanagh, 33, of Ottawa, IL, died Thursday July 22, 2021.

A memorial service will be held on Friday July, 30, at 10:30 am at Christ Community Church, with Pastor John Nordstrom Jr. officiating. The visitation will start at 10:00 am at the church prior to the service. The Ottawa Funeral Home and Crematory are entrusted with his care .

Matthew was born November 12, 1987, in Ottawa, To Ronald and Anne (Zimmer) Cavanagh.

Matt is survived by his parents, Ron Cavanagh and Anne Purkes; his grandparents, Carol Smith and James Zimmer;  his three brothers, Ronald Cavanagh III, Timothy Cavanagh and Joe Wagner; his four sisters, Melissa Cavanagh, Shania Cavanagh, Diann Tovar and Cassandra Hayes; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ronald and Jean (Gage) Cavanagh Sr. and his aunt, Patsy Wieczorek.
