Mary Louise Welch

Mary Louise Welch, 95, of Ottawa, Illinois passed away Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Pleasant View Lutheran Home in Ottawa. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am Tuesday Nov. 3, 2015 at St. Patrick Church in Ottawa, with Rev. Tony Fevlo officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 on Tuesday before the services at the Ottawa Funeral Home. Burial will be in Ottawa Avenue Cemetery. Louise was born April 23, 1920 in Ottawa, Illinois to Matthew and Emma (Werhosek) Welch. She was a life member of St. Patrick Church, a member of the Altar and Rosary Society, the Catholic Daughters of the America's and AARP. Louise graduated from Ottawa High School in 1938 and the Peacock Secretarial School in 1940, she retired from Ottawa Silica Sand Company. She was a former officer of the Ottawa Business & Professional Women's Club. She is survived by her nephew, Michael (Chris) Welch of Des Moines, IA.; and a niece, Nancy (Dave) Grubich of Peru. She is preceded in death by her parents and; one brother, Donald Welch. Memorials may be directed to St. Patrick Church in Ottawa.
