Mary R. Tri, 89, of Ottawa, diedThursday, March 12, atOttawa Regional Hospital and Healthcare Center. Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Columba Church with the Rev. David Kipfer. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday with prayers at 4 at Ottawa Funeral Home. She was born Nov. 27, 1919, in Derry, Ireland, to William and Sue (Friez) Tomalin. She married Leo Tri on Sept.1, 1950, in Pittsburg, Penn. She was a member of St. Columba Church. Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Joan Wiesbrock of Ottawa; one son,James (Linda) Tri of Ottawa; eight grandchildren; and a sister, Margaret "Peggy" Block of Santa Clara, Calif. She was preceded in death by a son, Gary Tri. Pallbearers: Dennis Eisert, Ron O'Donnell, Jerry Wold, Steve Stoudt, Steve Callaway, Barry Mitchell. Memorials may be made to St. Columba Building Fund or the family.
