Mary K. Kennedy

Mary K. Kennedy, 71, of Ottawa, Illinois, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2012 at her home. Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Ottawa Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 11, 2012 prior to services at Ottawa Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park. Mary was born October 8, 1940, in Wilmington, Delaware, to George A. and Flora V. (Holt) Dunlop. She was married to Howard Kennedy from 1959 - 1974. She worked 17 years at LOF Glass Co. She then worked for the Victim Impact Panel through the State's Attorney's Office for 19 years. She is survived by her children, Arthur (Patricia Anderson) Kennedy of Ottawa, Denise (Arnold) Hampel of Fountain Hills, AZ, Robert (Tamara) Kennedy of Ottawa, Steven (Jennifer) Kennedy of Ottawa; and four grandchildren, Tyler and Kelsey Larkin, Cole Kennedy, and Maci Kennedy. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, George Dunlop, Jr. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society or Alzheimer Foundation.
