Mary Lou Kane

Mary Lou Kane, 61, of Ottawa passed away Monday, July 08, 2013 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Funeral services for Mary Lou will be private. Mary Lou was born July 27, 1951 in Ottawa, Illinois to Thomas and Virginia (O'Kraski) Lewis. She married Larry Kane August 8, 1969 at St. Patrick's Church in Ottawa. She worked as a lunch lady at Lincoln Elementary School and for eight years at Clover Technologies. Mary Lou's pride and joy were her grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Larry; one son, Larry Jr (Becky) of Ottawa; three grandchildren, Alexis, Delaney, and Kennedy; three sisters, Jean (Dave) Wallace of Ottawa, Nancy Furar of LaSalle, and Cathy Anderson of Ottawa; two brothers, Tom (Marcia) Lewis of Sandwich, and Rick Lewis of Ottawa; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents. Memorials may be directed to the family.
