Mary A Halliday, 89, of Ottawa, IL, passed away, Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at Ottawa Pavilion. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM, Monday, January 24, 2011 at St. Patrick's Church, with Rev. Philip Halfacre officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 8:30 to 9:30 AM, Monday, January 24 at Ottawa Funeral Home. Mary was born, February 12, 1921, in Marseilles, Illinois, to Celestino and Mary (Spizio) Angelico. She married the Edward J Halliday on October 2, 1943 in Marseilles, IL. He died April 23, 1971. Mary retired from the Marseilles Sewing Factory in 1974, and had also worked for JE Porter Co. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Ottawa and AARP. She is survived by one daughter, Sharon Przybylski of Ottawa; four grandsons, David, Joseph and Christopher Przybylski, all of Ottawa and Mark Przybylski of Marseilles, nine great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters. Pallbearers will be David, Joseph, Mark, Cody and Christopher Przybylski and Rick Wawerski. Memorials may be directed to the family.
