Mary G. Goode

Mary G. Goode, 73, of Ottawa, IL, passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at LaSalle County Nursing Home surrounded by her family. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Monday July 19, 2010 St. Bernard Parish in Clementsville, KY with Rev. Patrick Dolan officiating. Burial will be in Roley Christian Cemetery in Roley, KY. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday, July 16, at Ottawa Funeral Home with prayers at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Ryan Goode officiating. Visitation will also be two hours prior to services on Monday at the St. Bernard Church in Kentucky. Mary was born December 15, 1936, in Clementsville, KY to Joseph and Florence (Wethington) Wethington. She married Stephen E. Goode January 31, 1956, in Jeffersonville, Ind. He died February 6, 2001. Mary is survived by one daughter, Glenna Hill of Ottawa; three sons, Stephen (Kathy) and Mike (Kari), both of Ottawa, and Lester (Amy) of Marseilles; fourteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; two sisters, Sharon (Dennis) Sofiak of Campbellsville, Ky, and Annie Curtis of Lexington, Ky; and one brother, George Wethington of Louisiana. She is preceded in death by her husband, and a son, Joseph; one sister, Agnes; and four brothers, Manual, Marshall, Freddy, and Lester. Pallbearers will be her Mike Goode, Michael Goode, Lester Goode, Heather Hill, and Brad and Ryan Goode. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Goode and Ray Sherrill.
