Mary G. Goble

Mary G. Goble of Avon, IN passed away at home on Friday, May 26, 2017 with family by her side. She was 35 years old. Funeral services will be held at 10 am, Saturday, June 3 at Ottawa Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4 - 7 pm, Friday, June 2 at the funeral home. Born in Chicago, IL on September 23, 1981, Mary previously lived in Carol Stream, IL and Sycamore, IL. She earned an Elementary Education degree in 2012 from Northern Illinois University and worked in several schools as a substitute teacher. Mary was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed reading and playing card games with her husband and two sons. She was a Packer’s fan who finally got to visit Lambeau Field last year. After her family, the love of her life was her black lab, Molly. Her grandparents, Hubert and Helen McDermott, two aunts, Krista (Milus) Sharp and Kara (Milus) Bault and an infant brother, Stephen Kelly, predeceased Mary. She is survived by her husband, Andrew, two sons, Dylan and Dakota (Avon, IN), her parents, Stephen and Kelly McDermott (Carol Stream, IL), her grandparents, Ken and Kay Milus (Ottawa, IL) and several aunts, uncles and cousins. In lieu of flowers, contributions to The Goble Boy’s College Fund would be greatly appreciated.
