Mary Louise Farrell

Mary Louise (Dougherty) Farrell, 99, of Madison, MS, died, Wednesday October 14, at St. Catherine Retirement Home, in Madison, MS. Mass of Christian Burial will be at Noon Thursday, October 22, 2009 at St. Columba Church, with Fr. Ray Guthrie officiating. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:30 - 11:30 am, Thursday, October 22 at Ottawa Funeral Home. Mrs. Farrell was born January 7, 1910, in Ottawa, Illinois, to Edward and Mary (Ferriter) Dougherty. She married Gerald W. Farrell at St. Columba Church on December 19, 1940. He died March 31, 1964. She was a member of St. Richard's Parish in Jackson, MS for the last 46 years. She is survived by one son Gary Patrick (Barbara) Farrell of Talent, OR. She was preceded in death by a sister, Veronica and three brothers, Edward, Frank, and Jack.
