Marsha D. Brandner, 63, of Ottawa passed away Monday, March 19, 2018 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Funeral Service will be held at 5:00 Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Ottawa Funeral Home with Rev. William Clark officiating. Visitation will be 2:00 -5:00, prior to services, Thursday at Ottawa Funeral Home. Marsha was born December 20, 1954 in Ottawa, Illinois to Lester and Henrietta (Godwin) Brandner. She retired from Horizion House as a personal assistant. She was passionate about wildlife and often did fundraising for American Wildlife Foundation, as well as for the Arbor Day Foundation. She was always very active in the Lincoln school PTA, was a Girl Scout Leader, and was known as the "Queen of Concessions" at the softball diamonds. Marsha was a self-less woman and always had a smile, she dedicated her life to her daughter and family. She fought the good fight for five years. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Lowery; one sister, Vicki (Tony) Neurohr; four nieces and nephews, Jim "Deke" Bradish, Jamie Mignone, Amy (Scott) Davis, and Sarah (James) Shurts; and two step-sons, Eric Lowery and Paul Lowery. She is preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Callie Brandner; one sister, Karen Bradish; her partner, Michael Lowery Sr.; and one step-son, Michael Lowery Jr. Memorials may be directed to her family.
