Mark Hetelle

Mark Reagan Hetelle, 75, of Ottawa, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2026 at his home.

Cremation rites have been entrusted to Ottawa Funeral Home.

Mark was born October 22, 1950 in Ottawa, IL to Kenneth and Loretta (Carrier) Hetelle. He worked for the City of Ottawa for 14 years before retiring.

He is survived by his wife Anne Hetelle; his children, Mark (Kim) Hetelle, Mitchell (Tianna) Hetelle; his grandchildren, Drake, Ethan, Shane, Emma, Abby and Jack; his sister, Kathy (Ron) Hermann, as well as many brothers- and sisters-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Loretta; his step dad, Steve Magelli; and his sister, Carol Ator.

A private service will be held at a later date.
