Mark A. Gahan, 56, of Ottawa passed away Saturday, April 23, 2016 at his home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 28 at St. Patrick's Church in Ottawa, with Rev. Tony Fevlo officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, with prayers at 3:45 with the Knights of Columbus in attendance, at Ottawa Funeral Home & Crematory.
Mark was born December 6, 1959 in Ottawa, to James T. and Mary Lou (Arnold) Gahan.
Mark was a life-long farmer and the road commissioner for Wallace Township. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church and the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by two brothers, Jerry (Lisa) Gahan and Tom (Donna) McNamara, both of Ottawa; and his nieces and nephews, Kristy and Jeremy Gahan, and Katelyn and Mackenzie McNamara.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Tom Gahan.
Pallbearers will be Tom Nixon, Andrew Allen, Dennis Allen, Steve Serby, Steve Pillion, Marty Brown, and Tim Cappellini.
Memorials may be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.
