OTTAWA -- Marjorie E. Schwarzbach, 86, of Ottawa, died Saturday, Nov. 17, at Pleasant View Luther Home. Mass of Christian burial will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Columba Church with the Rev. David Kipfer officiating. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Ottawa Funeral Home with prayers at 4 p.m. and Catholic Daughters of the Americas in attendance. Mrs. Schwarzbach was born Sept. 9, 1921, in Blytheville, Ark., to Floyd and Theresa (Feeley) McBride. She married Richard Schwarzbach on July 9, 1942, at St. Patrick's Cathedral in South Bend, Ind. He died June 12, 1981. She was a manager of the Wit and Wisdom Card Shop in Ottawa. She was a member of St. Columba Church and CDA. She is survived by three daughters, Nancy (Richard) Zemaitis of Ottawa, Gayle Buescher of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Sherri Morlok of Rock Island; two sons, James (Mary Ann) of Geneva and Richard "Byrd" of Ottawa; 12 grandchildren, Steven and Colby Zemaitis, Paul, Eric, Pam and Amy Schwarzbach, Brent and Christopher Morlok, Kimberly Townsend, Jackie Thompson, Cinnamon Bosnich and Alayna Buescher; and 12 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Memorials may be directed to St. Columba Church.
