OTTAWA -- Marjorie "Jean" Fitzgerald, 88, of Ottawa, died Sunday, March 23, at Pleasant View Luther Home. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Christ Episcopal Church with the Rev. Wallace Marshall officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Ottawa Funeral Home. Marjorie was born May 13, 1919, in Ottawa, to Arthur and Inez (Thomas) Malcolm. She married John W. Fitzgerald on May 25, 1941, at St. Patrick's Church in Ottawa. He died Dec. 4, 1994. She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church and Ottawa Elks Lodge. Survivors include a daughter, Carol (Sam) Murry of Ottawa; two sons, John (Wayne Boylan) Fitzgerald of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Dean (Mary) Fitzgerald of Chicago; four grandchildren, John and Matthew Feehan and Amanda and Robbie Fitzgerald; and a great-grandson, Johnny. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Gaylord Malcolm. Pallbearers will be John and Matthew Feehan, Robbie and John Fitzgerald, Randy Malcolm and John Pierre.
